What I love about this wine is its unquestionable texture and mouthfeel - it just wraps itself around your tongue like a big hug. The French oak used in the wine ageing process gives a stunning nose with layers of complexity. A creamy hazelnut , walnut and white chocolate sit on the nose. with white pepper and lemon peel.
The palate offers a kiss of that elegant French oak and a creamy lemon brioche. A slight salinity sits on the mid palate with layers and layers of citrus balanced by the delicate oak. This is a stunning wine and showcases why White Rioja is becoming a serious contender against the Burgundy’s of the world!
